Best Practices

Map out your dimensions and structure before creating collections. It’s easier to set up correctly than to reorganize later.
Establish naming conventions for:
  • Collection names
  • Dimension values
  • SKU codes
Consistency makes searching and reporting easier.
Keep notes on why collections are organized a certain way. This helps onboard new team members.
Periodically review collections:
  • Archive unused collections
  • Clean up old dimension values
  • Verify supplier information
